Taste of London, Regent’s Park, London (June)

Feted as the world’s greatest restaurant festival, Taste of London is a giant summer garden party. Held in Regent’s Park each June, it attracts over 50,000 foodies every year.

Taste of London’s Summer Festival is held in Regent’s Park

Unlike most food festivals where the emphasis is on street food, Taste of London is all about eating restaurant dishes. Even better, they’re all dishes from London’s top eating establishments. There’s a staggering menu of more than 200 taster size dishes to choose from. It’s the equivalent of a food lover’s giant sweetie box and it comes packaged in one of London’s prettiest parks. Invite your friends, wear your floaty summer dress and enjoy a cocktail as you feast your eyes upon the extensive menu and decide what to eat.

Enjoy a Summer Cocktail

A good problem to ponder at Taste of London is deciding what to drink because there are so many great choices. Enjoy the garden party atmosphere by sipping a Champagne cocktail at the Laurent-Perrier Clubhouse, start with a gin and tonic from Sipsmith or try an Apérol spritz. If you like to learn and drink at the same time, book into a whisky masterclass at The Balvenie Lounge and become a whisky connoisseur.

Shop for Artisan Products

Some of the UK’s finest artisan producers and boutique brands make browsing the Small Producers Market another tasting treat. There’s black pudding from Scotland, cheese from Snowdonia, cider from Cornwall and charcuterie from Somerset. Taste from some of our favourite producers – try the English sparkling wine from Hush Heath Estate and  Chapel Down Wine in Kent, London Dry Gin from the City of London Distillery and the new craft beers, such as Frontier, brewed at Fuller’s Griffin Brewery in Chiswick.

Tips
