Edinburgh’s Stewart Brewing has cleverly set up this beer brewing experience for beer novices. At the Craft Beer Kitchen, they guide you through the whole brewing process and best of all, a few weeks later, you can bottle and label your own creation and take it home to enjoy at your leisure.

Learn To Brew Beer With Stewart Brewing

Founded in 2004, Stewart Brewing quickly became Edinburgh’s local independent brewery. They started by producing cask ales before extending to bottled beers and expanding their range even further. The names of their beers reflect their proud Edinburgh heritage. You’ll find bottled beers with names like Hollyrood, Edinburgh Gold and St Giles.

Brew Your Own Craft Beer

Choose from over 50 recipes and learn to craft your own beer from start to finish. Designed for novices and beer geeks alike, the course will give you an understanding of the different raw ingredients and processes required to brew beer a good craft beer. There’s tasting too. Try some of the brewery’s creations before leaving your brew to work its magic for 3 weeks.

Bottle and Label Your Own Craft Beer

The brewery team will care for your beer as it ferments and conditions so that the yeast turns the sugars into alcohol and the flavours all marry together. You can then return to the brewery to bottle and label your beer (creative types can bring their own personalised labels). Expect to go home with approximately 5 cases of 12 x 500ml bottles so invite your friends round for a tasting session.
