Follow The Scottish Seafood Trail

Founded by Carole Fitzgerald, author of From Crab Shack to Oyster Bar, the Seafood Trail takes a meandering route through the rugged coastline, spectacular lochs and rural unspoiled scenery that gives Argyll seafood its distinctly delicious flavours.

Visit Scotland’s Seafood Stars

The region’s most famous restaurants feature along the route including the renowned Loch Fyne Oyster Bar in the picturesque village of Cairndow and the The Pierhouse Restaurant in Port Appin. Watch the fresh catch being landed by the local fishermen and delivered directly to the restaurant doors. As ‘Restaurants With Rooms’, both The Seafood Cabin and the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar offer accommodation and at other points along the trail, there are recommended hotels.
