Ice Like a Pro With a Biscuiteers Icing Class in London

The Biscuiteers Biscuit Boutique and Icing School, London

The Biscuiteers make beautiful, hand-iced biscuits, chocolates and cakes. At their Icing Boutiques in London, you can take one of their icing classes and create your own unique designs.

Visit the Biscuiteers London Icing cafes in Notting Hill or Battersea and learn to ice biscuits like a pro

I had a wonderful time learning to ice Jolly Gingers in a Biscuiteers DIY icing class at their smart Northcote road boutique in South London. This is creative play time for adults just as much as it is for kids!

We happily experimented with brightly-coloured icing, tried different techniques and sprinkled decorations over our proud creations. Having caught the icing bug, we left eager to return and try one of their themed masterclasses.

If you’re looking for a gift for a keen baker, a child or you’re organising a get-together for friends, an icing class with The Biscuiteers is a fun and creative choice.

The Biscuiteers Boutique & Icing Café

In November 2012, the first Biscuiteers’ Boutique & Icing café opened in Notting Hill showcasing the Biscuiteers’ biscuit, chocolate and cake collections. Walk into one of their cafés and you’ll see stunning displays of exquisitely decorated biscuits. The biscuits are all handmade and iced using traditional techniques rather than industrial methods. It’s no surprise that many of their icing experts are artists in their own right.

Icing Classes for Children

At The Little Biscuiteers School of Icing they run 1 hour classes for children. There are special events and birthday parties too. The Halloween Kids Event is especially popular.

Icing Classes for Adults

The Biscuiteers School of Icing runs two hour classes (minimum age 16), where you can be taught to ice like an expert. They’ll teach you their tricks and techniques. You leave with a beautiful tin of biscuits you’ve iced yourself plus a Biscuiteers smart cotton apron. Many of their icing classes are based around a theme from their collection. There are classes dedicated to their Fashionista range with its cute lipstick and shoes. Our favourite is the adorable après-ski collection with ski goggles and bobble hat.

Give A Beautiful Box of Iced Biscuits

Of course these beautiful biscuits make delicious and very memorable gifts. Each collection is presented in a gorgeous illustrated keep-sake tin which can be kept long after the biscuits are gone. The creative team design the collections seasonally and many of their collections can be personalised with your own message too. We’ve particularly got our eye on The Good Life Biscuit Tin (perfect for budding Toms and Barbaras) and  The Vintage Traveller Biscuit Tin .
