Sit down to a Hotel Chocolat Afternoon Tea at Rabot 1745 in London. Also available in Leeds & Cambridge
Hotel Chocolat’s Afternoon Tea is a delicious chocolate-themed extravaganza. Book in for one at their stylish restaurant Rabot 1745. It’s located in Borough Market, London’s renowned food market.
At £25 a head (based on 2 people sharing), it’s also excellent value. Reserve a table on the terrace on Saturday afternoon and you can taste chocolate sensations while watching the activity in the market below.
Downstairs, you’ll find their chocolate café and shop where you can browse their entire range of mouth-watering chocolates and gifts. On a chilly winter’s day, I like to have a rich hot chocolate here, when the café has the feel of an après-ski bar, followed by a brisk walk along the Thames.Sally, Editor, The Foodie Travel Guide

Treat Yourself to a Hotel Chocolat Afternoon Tea
Hotel Chocolat’s Afternoon Tea is a luxurious spread of cocoa delights, both savoury and sweet, served with hot drinks or glasses of chilled Prosecco. Savouries include sandwiches with fillings such as gin-cured salmon (the gin is infused with cocoa and available to buy in their shop), and rare beef with white chocolate horseradish.
As you’d expect, there’s a scone (warm and fresh from the oven), but you’re invited to layer it with cocoa nib butter, chocolate spread and strawberry jam. With a brownie, a slice of banana bread and chocolates to follow, it’s generous too. So generous in fact, we were unable to finish it. Don’t worry, as if by magic, doggy bags appear at the table so everyone can take home a chocolate treat.
